Creating a Mobile Website

Skip this step if you are short on time. You also must have moderate computer skills to enter code and create your mobile website. If you do have the time and computer skills, a mobile website adds a lot of credibility to your business and your website.

To make your website mobile friendly you need to recreate all of your pages but leave out the banners and graphics.  Banners and graphics get in the way of content and take longer to download. Make your website easily accessible from your visitors' phones in order to maximize the amount of content the phone can download.

You must go into your index.html file and enter the following coding at the top and save it as index.php:

<?php include('mobile.php');
mobile_device_detect(true,true,true,true,true,true,'http://YOUR DOMAIN NAME/Mobile/index.html',false); ?>

Then you must download: mobile.php and place it in your root directory

Next you must create a folder titled "Mobile" on your host server and create a simplified, mostly text, index.html file. You also must include mobi.css in the Mobile folder.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you delete your original index.html in your root folder and change any links to index.php.

Next, you are ready to place advertisements designed for mobile applications on your website. All you have to do is register for an account on Google AdSense.
